Feasibility Study

The purpose of the Feasibility Study is for the District, its OPM (for projects with estimated construction costs in excess of $1.5 million), its Designer, and the MSBA to explore potential solutions that meet the requirements of the District’s Educational Program, and to determine the most cost effective and educationally appropriate solution for the MSBA Board of Directors' consideration.

The Feasibility Study consists of the Preliminary Design Program (PDP) & The Preferred Schematic Report (PSR).

Preliminary Design Program

Identify the issues/articulate the educational plan
List options to be studied in PSR
Generate an initial space summary
Document existing conditions
Establish design parameters

Key Goals

Develop and evaluate alternatives.
